Gale Tobin on The Many Benefits of Yoga — Gale Tobin
Yes, I know. There are probably so many articles about the benefits of yoga already, but I still want to write one. I am just that obsessed with it.
For years, I’ve practiced yoga as a way of expressing myself and my love for all things natural. In fact, the humble beginnings of yoga are said to have been as natural as nature itself too. Appearing first in the 4th century BCE, yoga is meant to show the oral tradition and history of the first Indian empires that ruled southern Asia for hundreds of years.
Why Should You Start Doing Yoga?
Well, if you have no idea what yoga can do for you, then should I assume that you’ve been living in a rock all this time?
Kidding aside, yoga has been around for centuries that it is almost next to impossible to not recognize the positive effects that yoga has on the mind and body. For one, yoga helps in strengthening your body’s core area. The daily stretching exercises make your muscles stronger and tougher.
Meanwhile, the breathing exercises help in keeping your whole body relaxed. This will keep you focused and feeling refreshed because you are able to release all your negative energy during each yoga session.
The Benefits of Yoga
Yoga is no longer just about showcasing tradition and history. It’s also about health, having a solid posture, and relieving stress that has been accumulated in your body for days.
Still not convinced about the benefits of this thousand-year-old exercise? Well, looks like I will have to discuss most of it though.
So, without further ado, let’s start talking about the many benefits of yoga!
